Our mission
Camp High Hopes gives children and teens with bleeding disorders a free week of summer camp in the Adirondacks. They swim, hike, sing around the campfire, and make friends who understand them, just like any other kid at camp. Run entirely by volunteers, many of them former campers, we have been a family for 40 years.
Campers become counselors
Most of our board and counselors were campers themselves. They know the week from the inside, which is why it has kept running for 40 years without a paid staff member.
How camp is paid for
Camp High Hopes is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 16-1266169. Every program is free to participants, covered by donations and sponsorship.
